How to protect your home and work from Cyber-attack and Ransomware
This week we have seen the world’s largest ever computer hack which has crippled large parts of the NHS in the UK. The ransomware, called WannaCry, has hit more than 99 countries in recent days and companies affected include FedEx, Telefonica and Russia’s second largest mobile phone company. The attack is ongoing and things are likely to get worse before they get better over the coming weeks.
HOPE Church is hosting a Free Cyber Security course on Sunday 14th May at 18:30 which will teach anyone how to protect their computers at home and work from this and other common cyber threats.
You do not need to be an IT expert in order to keep your files and photographs safe on your computer and this course will cut through the mumbo-jumbo and media hype and explain the real risks in everyday language and teach you the 5 simple things anyone can do to protect their home and work from cyber-attack.
The course will be taught by Mark Faithfull who has been responsible for protecting the IT systems at multi-billion euro global businesses and his cyber security training is widely praised for being easy to understand and use:
It’s the best course I have ever been on – CS, Compliance Manager
It was very good- really good – GD, Finance Director
It has changed how I behave at home and at work – CS, HR Director
That was brilliant, you should do it for a living, RS, IT Director
If you use a computer at home or at work or if you manage or own a business, this free course will teach you the easy and essential steps you need to take to protect your data over the coming weeks.
Arrive early to secure your seat.
